well, I've been making home made baby food for some time now...
Fya is now 10 months old!
hehehe
fully breastfed still and with good appetite too alhamdulillahh
we started with fruit puree - mashed banana, apples, pears, sweet potato (keledek), pumpkin (labu), butternut (errr tak tau apa? labu sayong kot) ....she's not picky altho awal2 tu she did vomit a few times...maybe because I mash the sweet potato instead of puree-ing it with a bit of water
starting 8 months , I fed her pureed rice + vege +fish!
The usual vege suspects are like carrots, spinach, broccoli, and i used ikan tenggiri and ikan merah...
sometimes I even add potatoes or sweet potato in the mix, just so she's not bored hehehe
and sometimes I gave her kiwis too - she can eat 1 kiwi at one seatinggg hahahah
so greedy la my daughter hahahah
so at 10 month , I'm thinking to introduce chicken and beef to her
looking for good recipes tho...I wanted to introduce pasta, soups and cheese too :)
found some do-able recipes that we can make ahead and freeze!
this is a book mark for me- I even pin it on Pinterest!
happy cooking mommies :)

ONE POT CHICKEN (credit to Annabel Karmel)
Chicken is an ideal first meat for babies as it blends well with root vegetables like carrot and sweet potato. This easy one pot chicken recipe would make a good first chicken puree. Frozen vegetables are fine to use as an ingredient when making you baby's puree as they are frozen within hours of being picked, so all the nutrients are locked in. For older babies you can finely chop rather than puree this and mix it with some cooked rice.
